TIMELINE
The Designer Miguel Rosario conceived his 22nd project that would become his most successful project until now, the SEAMAX M22.
A year was dedicated to the design, development and testing of the prototype. The completion of this phase in 2001 permitted the beginning of series production.
The first Seamax produced in series, flied surpassing all the expectations.
Portugal was the first country to receive a Seamax aircraft. It flies through the skies of Europe until nowadays.
  • M22 is used in the project "Brasil das águas, flied by Gerard Moss.
  • Seamax won the Schneider Cup, in Piccola Italy.
  • First export to Sweden Type Certificate.
  • First M22 flew from Lisbon to an aeronautic exhibition in Friedrichshafen - Germany.
  • First expedition Ushuaia Gabon NatGeo and 2nd expedition to Cambodia led by Nicolas Hulot.
First certification given by (FAA) for the modality S-LSA.
Third Ushuaia Xingu NatGeo expedition led by Nicolas Hulot.
Currently, there are 120 Seamax flying in Brazil and worldwide in over 40 countries including: USA, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Panama, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Italy, France, England, Taiwan, Croatia, Latvia, Finland, New Zealand and Australia.
In September 2012, a new Seamax production center was inaugurated in São João da Boa Vista (São Paulo, Brazil) to modernize what is best in the aviation industry, expanding our production from 40 to 150 units per year to serve the national and international market with excellence.
